TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This website (www.beadstampede.co.uk) is operated by FP Designers, trading as Bead Stampede, 9 Holt Court, 7-11 Brown Street, Salisbury, SP1 1AG, United Kingdom. Bead Stampede (“we”, “us”, “our”, “ours”) urges users (“you”, “your”, “yours”, “purchaser” ) of this website to read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, as these govern the use of the Bead Stampede website, goods sold and services provided. Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time, without notice.
Although we try to describe our goods accurately, we cannot guarantee that descriptions are complete or error-free. Descriptions may change at any time. In particular, goods sold online are subject to variations in monitors, their appearance may be somewhat different in actuality, and packaging may not be as shown. Please feel free to contact us prior to ordering if you have any questions about our goods.
Many of our goods have inherent variations, for example, due to being handmade or being made of natural materials, and purchaser should expect these variations to be present. Additionally, many beads are dyed or have other characteristics not conducive to excessive rubbing or heavy handling. Beads, cords and similar should always be handled with care, especially avoiding cosmetics, perfumes and chemicals. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that goods purchased are suitable for an intended project. Photographs or other images of goods should be treated only as representations of the product sold and not as a photograph or image of the actual item purchaser will receive.
No guarantee of suitability of goods beyond what is provided in the product description is expressed or implied. Any use of an item in a manner not expressed in the description is at the user’s sole risk.
In reference to gem or semi-precious stones, and goods made of precious metals, we sell these in good faith as being as described. We take great care in sourcing our goods from reputable suppliers and have relied on their representations regarding gem and semi-precious stones, and goods made of precious metals. We have not performed tests on such goods to confirm our suppliers’ representations, and can make no guarantee as to the quality, accuracy, or value of these goods, beyond the price paid.
If purchaser believes that a product is not as described, purchaser may return the item for a refund pursuant to our returns policy stated below.
Weights or amounts of goods may vary, but will be equal to or greater than the amount stated in the item description. All other measurements are approximate.
PRICES, VAT, MINIMUM ORDERS AND PROMOTIONS
There is no minimum purchase requirement.
We are not currently required to be VAT (“Value Added Tax”) registered. Therefore, no VAT is included in our prices and no VAT discount will be given. Our VAT registration status may change at any time, at which time we will amend these Terms and Conditions accordingly.
Prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling and are subject to change at any time, without notice. Prices do not include shipping and handling charges, unless otherwise stated. We make every effort to ensure that our prices are accurate; however, in the event of an error, we are not required to sell the goods at the price shown. Should the price shown be erroneous, we will contact purchaser to offer either a full refund of the purchase price of the mis-priced product, or the option to purchase the product at the correct price.
From time to time, Bead Stampede may issue discount coupons, offer goods at special prices or hold similar promotions. Although we will make every effort to hold these promotions according to the terms stated initially, promotions may be discontinued or altered at any time, if necessary. Bead Stampede occasionally participates in contests and promotions held by third parties. All conditions are set by those third parties and we have no control over their terms and conditions.
We accept payment through PayPal or credit/debit cards and Apple Pay through direct checkout. You may also use credit and debit cards to pay through PayPal without having to sign up for a PayPal account. Purchases are made in British Pounds Sterling. For international purchasers, your credit card provider or bank will determine the exchange rate for payment of your order and may add additional processing or administration charges in relation to payment thereof, which you will be liable to pay.
Your order will not be accepted until full payment has been received.
ORDERS AND CANCELLATION
The offer of goods on this website does not constitute a binding offer to sell those goods to you. We reserve the right to refuse to accept an order for any reason whatsoever, at any time prior to dispatch. Should we refuse to accept an order any monies paid by purchaser will be refunded. Any correspondence from Bead Stampede regarding the processing of your order should not be construed as acceptance of your order until such time as your order has been dispatched. All goods remain the property of Bead Stampede until they have been successfully delivered to purchaser’s (or purchaser’s agent’s) delivery address, as specified during the checkout process.
We accept no responsibility for any losses, actual or consequential, financial or otherwise, arising from our failure to supply any of our goods, beyond refunding to purchaser any monies paid for these goods.
We reserve the right to limit the amount that may be purchased of any goods, or to require that a certain amount of goods (either in weight, quantity or by value) be purchased in order to obtain special offers.
Purchaser has the right to cancel purchase within 14 calendar days from the day after receipt of purchase. Purchaser must give us written notice of intent to cancel via mail or email, providing us with his or her name, address and sales receipt number within this 14-day period. After this period, purchaser is deemed to have accepted the goods purchased.
Except in the case of faulty goods or goods significantly not as described, if purchaser exercises right of cancellation after the goods have been shipped, purchaser is responsible for returning the goods to us at his or her own cost. Please see our returns policy below for additional information.
Although we try to maintain sufficient quantities of goods in stock, unpredictable shortages may occur. We will dispatch partial orders, unless purchaser instructs us otherwise. Purchaser should re-order any out-of-stock goods at a later time, as we do not process back-orders. Any payments made in respect of out-of-stock goods will be promptly refunded.

Please contact us if your order has not arrived within 30 days of the shipping date and we will investigate, though we recommend that you contact your local sorting office first, in case they have attempted delivery and not left notification of this. If we refund you for non-receipt of goods and should those goods subsequently be delivered to you, you agree to return those goods to us at your expense, as a change-of-mind cancellation, or to re-pay us the amount of the refund, should you wish to keep the goods.
Purchaser is responsible for providing the correct delivery address. While we will always work with you to ensure that your parcel is delivered to the address provided on the order, we cannot be responsible for parcels going astray due to the purchaser providing the incorrect address.
Purchasers outside the United Kingdom are liable for any customs charges, import duties, permits, or import restrictions. Any additional charges are the responsibility of purchaser and in no event will Bead Stampede be liable for additional charges, import permits or restrictions.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Purchaser has a right to cancel the order within 14 calendar days starting the day after the goods were received, otherwise goods are deemed to have been accepted by purchaser; goods will also be deemed to have been accepted by purchaser if purchaser has made or caused to be made to the goods any repairs, modifications or similar treatments, whether within the 14-day cancellation period or after.
Please notify us in writing, preferably by email, of your intent to cancel, providing us with your name, address and sales receipt number. We require that all cancelled goods be returned to us. Returns should be made within fourteen calendar days of notification of cancellation. Unless faulty or sent in error, goods are returned at purchaser’s expense. If purchaser has damaged or used goods that are being returned, the refund may be pro-rated to reflect the diminished value of the goods. Jewellery is only eligible for refund if returned with the identification tag intact. Jewellery returned without tags is presumed to have been worn and is not eligible for refund.
Faulty or incorrectly sent goods may be returned for a full refund. We will reimburse you the amount of the return postage. Purchaser should either contact us by email before returning any goods or use the cancellation form attached to the notification-of-dispatch email.
For goods that are damaged, faulty or were sent in error, we will advise how best to return goods when purchaser informs us of their intent to return them. Customers should not return damaged or faulty goods until we have responded to their query. We try to respond to queries quickly, however, if you have not had a response from us within 48 hours, please contact us again, as we may not have received your email.
Refunds will generally be made upon receipt of the returned goods, but in any event within 14 days of the returned goods having been received; however, bank processing times vary and Bead Stampede has no control over when a refund will be credited to the purchaser by PayPal or the purchaser’s bank or credit card provider.
Bead Stampede will not be responsible for returned goods that are not received or that we receive damaged, and therefore we recommend that purchaser pack returned goods well and use a method of tracked delivery that includes adequate insurance coverage. The goods must be returned to the address shown on the sales receipt. All returned goods will be checked against the original invoice.
Goods returned for fault that are found not to be faulty will be returned to purchaser and we shall be entitled to the shipping costs to return the goods to purchaser. We will hold the goods until purchaser makes full payment for these shipping costs.
Due to our bookkeeping system, we don't do exchanges - simply return your unwanted purchase for a refund and re-order any desired items.
Although we do not participate in the EU's Online Dispute Resolution System, we are required to post a link to their website for informational purposes, which can be found here. Please be aware that if you use the ODR system, you may be required to pay a non-refundable fee, the details of which are unclear at this time.
Except for any manufacturer's warranty, goods are delivered without warranty. Non-consumable goods will normally be fit for purpose for at least six months from the time of delivery, subject to normal wear and tear and the exclusions below. Any warranty applies only to use of the goods in accordance with the item’s intended purpose and any manuals or specifications provided to purchaser.
A warranty is void if: any modification or repair is effected in or on the goods by or on behalf of purchaser; the goods have not been treated with due care or have been used in a manner unintended by the manufacturer; defects were visible upon receipt, but purchaser failed to inform us promptly of defects; or as a result of normal wear and tear or consumption.
